Exchangelodge has introduced its newest solution, GP Suite. GP Suite is a data workflow solution for private fund managers that combines Exchangelodge's automated workflows to streamline processes and institutionalize knowledge with its automated data validation and integration tools.

Fundwave has launched Aisha, its new AI assistant. Aisha is an AI language model that knows how capital calls, carried interest and management fees work. Users can ask Aisha any question relevant to their use of Fundwave.

Citco has launched Citco Withholding Tax Reclaims Analysis as part of its fund administration offering to help fund managers review and assess potential withholding tax reclaims for their end investors. Citco Withholding Tax Reclaims Analysis combines Citco data with automation and an understanding of the reclaims process to provide insights into the costs, benefits, and likelihood of success of reclaims in different jurisdictions globally. The Withholding Tax Reclaims Analysis service utilizes technology and Citco’s expertise to provide an overview to funds which can assist fund managers with determining which tax reclaims to pursue on behalf of end investors. Any successful reclaims can ultimately be distributed to end investors, enhancing their overall performance.

Preqin has launched new benchmarks to assess private markets ESG funds. Preqin’s ESG benchmarks cover ESG integration, Impact, Climate, SFDR Article 8, SFDR Article 9, Sustainable Development Goals and Sharia Compliant, and provide information into over 200 ESG fund performance benchmarks, covering more than 1,000 ESG funds, including SFDR funds, and encompassing ESG fund labels across the main private market asset classes.

Dakota has launched Dakota Talent, an investment management job board to find qualified candidates and opportunities. This new job board is designed specifically for sales, marketing and distribution roles.

Tegus has launched AskTegus, its new AI chat within the Tegus platform. AskTegus is designed to provide instant, actionable insights with depth and accuracy. AskTegus works by: asking questions, exploring citations and navigating insights.

Rio has launched Rio 2.0, its AI powered sustainability platform. This new platform will help users navigate a complex global regulatory landscape. Rio 2.0 provides users with audit grade controls to support how you collect, measure, monitor and report on sustainability performance. Features include the ability to: integrate more material ESG or governance metrics, gain visibility across operations, supply and value chain, benchmark performance and uncover cost-saving opportunities and
streamline reporting with automated controls and audit trails.

Visible has launched the VC Sentiment Index to help VCs better understand how their peers feel about the past, present, and future markets. The VC Sentiment Index is 10 questions that should take 5 minutes to complete. Visible aims to distribute the survey once a quarter to see how sentiment towards the market has shifted. Once Visible has collected results, it will share the data back with additional insights and quotes.

Venture360 has launched its investor reporting service for VC backed CEOs and investors. This new service streamlines the entire financial reporting process, from general ledger maintenance to financial closing and statement preparation.

Tegus has announced the impending launch of Broker and Independent Research. This new offering, which will be released soon, expands Tegus' core platform, incorporating both real time and aftermarket equity research from Wall Street and Independent firms, broadening the scope of content available to its users. This enhancement introduces global and regional coverage of equity research inclusive of company coverage initiation reports, macroeconomic and industry reports, market trends, and ongoing company reports to the broader Tegus user base including Venture Capital, Private Equity, Corporations, and Consulting Firms.

Attio has released a few new feature enhancements on its platform. The first is a new collapsible data table for reports, which makes it easy to dig into the numbers behind each chart. The next new enhancement is new extensible workflow blocks, which enables users to integrate workflows into any system, no lines of code needed. Webhook received allows you to trigger a workflow in Attio from any other application in your stack and Parse JSON allows you to parse and extract structured data from a JSON string, which can then be used as variable inputs for subsequent blocks. Attio has also made a few help center updates on its platform.

Drooms has a new feature on its platform, Q&A push-notifications. Now users will be notified instantly of new Q&A tasks in the data room via push-notifications in the Drooms mobile app.

Asset Class has announced two new updates on its platform. For onboarding there is a new Onboarding Cumulative Totals Report, that offers valuable insights into onboarding trends, helping to identify areas for process optimization. Additionally, the bulk invitation feature has been upgraded to be more informative, providing clearer communication to LPs. This change aims to improve the clarity and effectiveness of bulk invitation of LP’s and automatically sets up a user record for each one with the correct profile assigned. Asset Class has also launched an automated re-invitation feature, that addresses the challenge of LPs not responding to initial invitation emails by automating follow-ups, relieving the manual burden of re-engagement efforts.

Dealstack has introduced its newest product, The Dealstack Cap Table. The Dealstack Cap Table, Dealstack's new cloud-based equity management tool designed to help users manage and track ownership across the entire acquisition stack, for the full deal lifecycle. Some benefits for users are: Real-time collaboration, with a comprehensive view of your entire acquisition stack, accessible to all relevant stakeholders. Complete and auditable record of ownership history, providing peace of mind and facilitating regulatory compliance. Also, users can export live data to Excel at any time to power internal reporting, waterfall calculations and other uses. Lastly, automated data synchronisation between your Cap Table and existing investment programs managed through Dealstack.

Apex Group can now administer regulated securities, using blockchain as the book of record. With this approach, Apex aims to expand investor access and increase fund distribution and administration efficiency. This enables global private market funds to access a more diverse and significantly larger pool of qualified investors.

Maestro has introduced a new in-platform ESG survey module that enables private equity sponsors to capture, analyze, and visualize ESG-related metrics, initiatives, and activities within individual portfolio companies. Using the new ESG module, sponsors can design customized surveys, field those surveys to the desired respondents at relevant companies, collect and aggregate responses, generate visually compelling dashboards using embedded Power BI, and immediately convert survey results into actions and initiatives. As all activity lives within the Maestro platform, surveys can easily be repeated or replicated to track performance over time. Maestro’s ESG survey module offers a modernized approach to capturing and analyzing ESG data and visualizing it alongside other revenue and margin enhancing metrics in a single environment. By establishing benchmarks and tracking performance with a regular cadence, sponsors can better gauge ESG efforts for individual companies or across their portfolios.

SEI has introduced a range of enhancements to its SMA and UMA solutions offered through its Managed Account Solutions program. These include the launch of additional internally-managed and third-party investment options, reduced costs, and technology updates that bolster tax optimization. These enhancements are designed to help advisors better serve mass-affluent, high-net-worth, and ultra-high-net-worth investors.

Cygnetise has launched GovTalks. GovTalks is a new interview series aiming to explore the world of Governance, Risk & Compliance along with Regtech.

qashqade has unveiled its newest platform update from version v24.0.0. The early spring release of qashqade (version 24.0.0) brings a range of improvements to the Stakeholder Portal including a Total Compensation Cockpit; third-party application integration; an easier-to-use Partner Transfer feature; and a handful of calculation engine, screen performance and security upgrades. For the Stakeholder Portal – users get enhanced report generation and access. Additionally, its portal now includes a Total Compensation cockpit, providing investors or carry holders with comprehensive insights into their compensations. Also with this release, qashqade offers a full integration capability. And lastly, the partner transfer feature has been updated to be more flexible.

Owlin has unveiled its product release updates for Q1 2024. The first new release is Owlin Screening, which is an advanced technology intended to transform company vetting. Owlin Screening maximizes collaboration efficiency by seamlessly annotating and sharing screening cases with team members. Next, is 7 years of historical adverse media is now available to users. Accessing 7 years of historical data enhances its adverse media coverage, offering insights and ensuring comprehensive risk assessment. Therefore, this update further allows for informed decision-making, mitigating risks even more effectively and enhancing operational confidence. The next update is AI-generated summaries of news articles and then alert rule titles in email notifications.

SimilarWeb has revealed its newest product updates for March 2024. The first is an all-new Demand Analysis tool that captures both search and click data, so users get a comprehensive view of the customer journey. The next is the launch of Search 3.0, which combines real-user data with SERP data. Company funding data is an additional type of company information that users can find on Sales Intelligence. Also in the Sales Intelligence mix, SimilarWeb has introduced technology renewal signals, pointing users in the direction of prospects with technologies on their website that are likely to be up for renewal in the next 3 months. Next is its Stock Intelligence platform has seen two key updates for investors - ticker page redesign and users can now analyze online sign-ups with Subscription Growth.

DEAL ACTIVITY

iCapital and Mirador, a technology-enabled provider of investment data aggregation and financial reporting, have entered into a definitive agreement under which iCapital will acquire Mirador. With the acquisition, iCapital will expand its data management and reporting capabilities to create an enhanced technology experience for clients in the wealth management, family office, endowment, and foundation segments. As part of the transaction, over 180 employees of Mirador are expected to join iCapital. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Investorflow has acquired London-based, Coyote Software. Financial terms of the deal are unknown. With this acquisition, Investorflow will expand operations towards fundraising, transaction, and asset management stakeholders.

Integrum ESG has secured £100K investment from Industrial Thought. Industrial Thought, a group of companies specialized in investment taxation, financial data, and related consultancy services, has announced a £100K investment in Integrum ESG, with an option for a follow-on investment, alongside a partnership agreement to serve the wealth management industry with ESG data.

Vestlane has announced the closing of its partner fund, World Fund, a European fund in climate tech venture capital. Vestlane supports World Fund by providing its subscription process and KYC and AML workflows, which empower World Fund in their investment endeavors, ensuring efficiency and security. World Fund's inaugural fund is closing at €300M.

PARTNERSHIPS & INTEGRATIONS

Colmore and Dasseti have partnered together to power post investment and ESG managed service data collection for Colmore's LP clients. Dasseti will provide a technology-based ecosystem that simplifies the data collection process for Colmore. Both companies are focused on easing the data exchange in private markets. Dasseti Collect, its customizable digital data collection platform, has allowed Colmore to further digitize post investment and ESG data collection, tax, analysis and reporting for clients. The platform has brought enhanced speed and efficiency and allowed Colmore’s LP and allocator clients to build a clear picture of their assets.

Kelp and PitchBook have teamed up together for a new partnership. PitchBook data will now be integrated within Kelp's Deal Identification, Deal Management and Value Creation modules. Additionally, Kelp’s users can now source PitchBook’s proprietary data directly from Kelp, which will efficiently build and maintain target shortlists, modelling valuations and will deliver exit opportunities.

Carta and Rippling have announced an expanded partnership to make leveraging equity and salary data for startups simple. Under this partnership, Rippling's compensation bands tool is integrated with Carta Total Compensation. Now users can: leverage a large private-market database for customized compensation bands, benchmark by role, location, level, and company size and spot overspend or underspend on employee compensation.

Baird has expanded their relationship with CAIS to consolidate all their alternative investment products, processes, and data management onto a single platform. Baird’s advisors will now have centralized access to expanded support for structured investments and additional Baird alternatives sourced and approved by Baird via CAIS Solutions.

Manaos and SESAMm have announced a strategic partnership to enhance ESG controversy data integration and analysis. Manaos, a subsidiary of BNP Paribas, is a modular investment service platform. With this partnership, Manaos will integrate SESAMm's ESG controversies data into its platform, offering a dedicated dashboard and controversies reports for institutional investors and asset management companies and adding private equity firms to its offering. This integration expands Manaos' coverage of controversies for listed assets and for private assets.

mnAi has announced its partnership with the National Association of Commercial Finance Brokers. This partnership marks the beginning of a new era of data-driven decision-making in commercial finance, promising transformative outcomes for businesses across the UK.

Persefoni and AuditBoard, a cloud-based platform for audit, risk, compliance, and ESG management, have announced a partnership to help organizations integrate carbon accounting into their broader ESG program management. Persefoni’s carbon accounting capabilities combined with AuditBoard’s connected risk platform provide joint users with one comprehensive integrated solution for ESG data to drive audit-ready ESG reporting for their users, investors, and regulators.

Singapore Exchange Limited has selected Persefoni as its carbon accounting partner. SGX Group has chosen Persefoni as its trusted partner for carbon accounting and climate management.

Salesforce has announced the general availability of Unified Conversations for WhatsApp, which changes one-way marketing promotions or service requests into two-way conversations from a single WhatsApp number. Now, instead of managing separate threads for promotions and support, users can automatically receive personalized opt-in marketing promotions and individual support all within a single WhatsApp chat between a brand and customer.

RESET and Sweep have announced a new partnership together. RESET will use Sweep’s technology, which models the costs and emissions reductions of projects in order to help decision-makers identify the most cost-efficient strategies for achieving environmental goals.

Decusoft has announced its new technology partnership with UKG, a global provider of HR, payroll and workforce management. With this collaboration, users of both Decusoft and UKG Pro will benefit from a seamless integration that enables data exchange between the two platforms. Customers of both solutions will have integrated access to their UKG Pro data while managing all their compensation needs in Compose.

Accuidity has launched its partnership with Forge Global to broaden access to private market investments. Accuidity has partnered with Forge on the creation of the Forge Accuidity Private Market Index. This new index will be the benchmark of Accuidity’s Megacorn Strategy, employing an efficient approach to investing in late-stage private companies. The Forge Accuidity Private Market Index will track 60 of the most promising venture-backed, late-stage private growth companies. The index will rebalance annually to maintain diversified exposure to private markets.

Attio has announced that four of its partners have launched a range of new integrations with Attio recently. Circleback, an AI-powered tool for tracking notes, action items, and more; users can connect Circleback with Attio to automatically save meeting summaries as notes, and action items as tasks. Using Cardinal, an opinionated, AI-enhanced feature backlog, your customer details and revenue data from Attio are connected to product features and opportunities, so you can best choose what to build next. AgentHub is an AI-powered automation platform that allows you to automate your Attio workflows, no code needed. Lastly, Wrk, a platform that combines API integration with RPA and human skill to help users automate actions in Attio.

MoolahMate has partnered with Envestnet | Yodlee to offer encryption for privacy and security while users manage their finances. With this collaboration, Envestnet | Yodlee ensures users banking data remains safe and secure when using MoolahMate.

NEW CLIENTS

DiligenceVault announced that GEM has adopted the DiligenceVault platform to automate data collection for due diligence and monitoring and to support their bespoke research needs. GEM is an investment firm with solutions that include customized OCIO, Alternative Investments and Impact Integration. DiligenceVault will enable GEM to review a range of asset managers while strengthening their proprietary research framework. In turn, the increased productivity and efficiency will benefit their clients.

ORC has chosen Dasseti to boost manager monitoring services. ORC, a provider of advisory services to the institutional investment sector, tapped Dasseti Collect to boost its digitally enabled growth and scale. Dasseti Collect is a platform geared toward institutional investors looking to streamline the data gathering process and client reporting. ORC plans to use the technology to set up AI-powered data collection, management and analysis capabilities.

Perennial Partners has selected SS&C for Unit Registry Services. SS&C's Managed Fund Administration unit will provide a full range of services to Perennial's investors across all fund types, including active ETFs, unlisted and dual-listed funds and private equity. SS&C's services will include transaction and distribution processing, AML/KYC, regulatory reporting, call center services and the Digital 360 investor services suite.

Public Trust Advisors has selected Assette to automate the creation, review, and delivery of their presentations, pitchbooks and factsheets. The firm is adopting three modules, Assette Client Presentations, Assette Pitchbooks, and Assette Factsheets. Assette software was selected to replace in-house, manual efforts, as Public Trust continues to drive efficiency by enhancing and automating their content creation process. In addition to the productivity and scaling benefits of Assette, the Public Trust team will also benefit from the software’s built-in compliance workflow. The automated compliance workflow provides a real-time glimpse of the review process, creates audit trails, and builds a version history of documents and content automatically. This will help the Public Trust team manage and meet record retention requirements by eliminating manual document tracking efforts.

OFFICE & PERSONNEL

Heather Zynczak has officially become the Chief Marketing Officer at AlphaSense. Zynczak has been the interim CMO since December 2022. With over 25 years of experience leading marketing at high-growth and pre-IPO technology and SaaS firms, Zynczak is ideally suited to helm AlphaSense's marketing efforts and brings expertise to the existing executive leadership team.

Rob Tappero is the new Chief Revenue Officer at iConnections. Tappero has been with the company since 2020 and previously held the role of Managing Director, Global Sales.

SimCorp has promoted Jakob Højland to the position of Vice President and Global Head Commercial SaaS. Højland joined SimCorp in 2020 and has overseen growth in the adoption of SaaS solutions amongst SimCorp clients. Before SimCorp, Højland was a Global Account Executive, Financial Services/FinTech at Microsoft.

FINTRX has announced the hiring of Greg Bell as Senior Director, Enterprise Accounts. Bell joins FINTRX from Discovery Data, where he served as VP, Enterprise Account Manager, bringing over 20 years of experience in the financial data and financial services industry. In his new role, Bell will be responsible for managing FINTRX's growing channel of enterprise customers, as well as driving new business revenue in the wider enterprise segment.

Sarah DeCamp has been promoted to Staff Product Marketing Manager at Ontra. Until her promotion, DeCamp was a Senior Product Marketing Manager for the last 2 years. Before joining Ontra, she was a Manager, Customer Success Team at Cocoon.

Broadridge Financial Solutions has announced the appointment of Frank Troise as President of Broadridge Trading & Connectivity Solutions and Vice Chairman of Broadridge Capital Markets, effective April 29, 2024. Troise succeeds Ray Tierney, who will serve in an advisory capacity, after 3 years in the role. Troise brings over 35 years of trading and technology experience to Broadridge, most recently he was Co-CEO and Board Member at Pico Quantitative Trading.

IQ-EQ has appointed Tamas Mark as its new Global Head of Real Assets. In this newly created position, Mark will implement a global real estate and infrastructure strategy for IQ-EQ’s clients to optimize service offerings and new products. Mark joined IQ-EQ in 2020 as Head of Real Estate at IQ-EQ Luxembourg, where he was responsible for driving the real estate strategy for Luxembourg within the Alternative Investment Fund AIF segment.

Alex Dean is IQ-EQ's new Head of Family Office, Europe and Middle East. Dean has been with the company since 2021 and previously held the position of Head of Private Wealth UK.

Bipsync has welcomed its newest Senior Product Manager, Richard Cramer. With experience in software engineering, product development, and business consultancy, Cramer will play a role in shaping the company’s product strategy and roadmap going forward.

Alkymi has welcomed George Chedzhemov to its management team as VP of Customer Success where he is responsible for designing and delivering positive customer experiences across the company. Chedzhemov brings over 25 years of startup experience, including at BigID, where upon joining as employee 7, he built and grew the post-sales delivery and success team from zero to a department of almost 100 services engineers, project managers, support engineers, and training specialists. Chedzhemov takes a holistic approach to customer success and problem-solving for clients. He will work with Aklymi's implementation team to help clients deepen their AI and machine learning expertise to achieve the best business outcomes.

Salesforce has named Jason Yau as SVP and Architect, within the Office of the CEO. In his new role, Yau will partner with Salesforce’s customers on their digital transformations and drive innovation for Salesforce. Yau, a three-time CTO, was most recently the Global Enterprise CTO at Shopify.

John Apricena has started a new position as Senior Vice President, Head of Corporate Infrastructure and Services at iCapital. Apricena has been with iCapital since March 2022 and previously held the position of Vice President, Corp IT. Head of Network and Infrastructure.

PE Cube has welcomed Melvin Alvarez to the Product team as an AI Research Engineer. Before joining PE Cube, Alvarez was the Managing Director / Data Scientist at Thot Technologies.

Titanbay has announced Ossama Soliman as its new CEO. Soliman was most recently Titanbay’s Chief Operating Officer, a role he had since June 2023 when he joined Titanbay and assumed ownership of Technology, Product, Data & Analytics, Operations, and end-to-end company operating across the business. Soliman has two decades of experience in technology and financial services and was most recently the Chief Product Officer of two fintech startups in London, TrueLayer and Zilch, where he scaled both into international financial services businesses.

Rania Mounsef now works for Domos FS as an apprentice in Digital Marketing and Communication. Mounsef has worked in marketing and communications for the last few years.

Chantelle D has been promoted to Head of Operations at IDR. Chantelle has been with IDR since 2022 and has worked in operations at Luno and JTC Group.

Amanda Bangs has started a new position as Managing Director, USA at Position Green. Prior to joining Position Green, Bangs was Head of ESG Partnerships at Novata.

Brendan Shane has started a new position as Senior Client Success Director at FINTRX. Prior to joining FINTRX, Shane spent over 4 years at Nasdaq as a Client Success Manager.

Travis Terry has recently started a new position as DevOps Director at SS&C Technologies. Terry has been with SS&C with 2022 and previously held the title of DevOps Manager.

OneTrust has announced a few new additions to the company. Erika Rodriguez Mena comes from Korn Ferry and is now a Sr. Progam Manager, Talent Management. Also, Adrienne Canter is now a Sr Director Governance, Risk, Compliance and she was previously with Anaplan. Additionally, Kevin Swearingen is now a Principal Data Visualization Specialist at the company.
